How to Clean Makeup Puff

1. Tap the makeup puff on a clean paper towel to remove as much loose makeup as possible.

2. Fill a bowl half full with warm water. Add two to three drops of mild laundry detergent. Stir up the soap and water with a spoon.

3. Submerge the makeup puff in the soapy water. Swish it around in the water for a minute or two, and then use fingers to thoroughly scrub the puff to remove any caked-on makeup or dirt.

4. Rinse the makeup puff under warm running water until all of the soap is gone. Pat it on a towel to remove the excess water. Then lay it out to air-dry completely.

5. Put the makeup puff into a mesh laundry bag and wash it in the washing machine for an alternative cleaning method. Lay the puff flat to air-dry.
